Group Workouts...BIKE: Saturday Group Rides

Our Saturday Club Rides are an excellent way to meet other club members, practice riding in a group setting, improve your bike handling skills, and explore some new terrain. In a group, you are often able to ride a further distance and at a stronger pace than you would on your own. These rides often include some hills, but we ride at a comfortable pace and will always include a ride lead and sweep. We promise you will not get dropped!
In 2017, we are looking many different formats to ensure the rides work for the Club Members, including: 2 loop rides, a separate fast & beginner/immediate ride, and earlier start times for those who need to put in additional mileage. The goal will be to finish together!
Many of our Saturday rides involve a theme to keep things interesting, such as: Pancake ride to Shaw's, Butter Tart ride to Midland, Super Bricks (bike-run-repeat), Wasaga Beach ride, and our annual summer BBQ / pool party ride. Most of our rides take place in Essa, Innisfil, Springwater, and Oro with starting points in and around Barrie.
